We’re looking for great talent.
Head of Operations & Growth
Reports to Founder & Chief Strategist.
Build the machine that runs and grows Echtus. We’re a boutique consultancy that helps enterprise teams design technical education that drives real business value. We’re looking for a founder‑adjacent operator who can own business operations, go‑to‑market, and partnerships, and scale what works.
Why this role, now?
Echtus is entering Year 3—an inflection point where we’re moving from founder-led consultancy to a scalable practice. This role exists to build the operating system and growth engine that make that leap possible: codify processes, package offers, stand up a reliable pipeline, and activate high‑leverage partnerships. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the founder to shape strategy and ship systems that turn repeatable wins into repeatable revenue—creating leverage across operations, marketing, sales, and partners.
If you love zero‑to‑one work with one‑to‑many impact—and you’re equally comfortable redlining a contract, tuning a dashboard, and hosting a partner webinar—this is your moment to help architect the next stage of Echtus.
What you'll do:
Business Operations
Own contracts, SoWs, redlines, and invoicing cadence; partner with counsel as needed.
Standardize SOPs across intake → discovery → proposal → kickoff → delivery → invoicing.
Manage vendor/software stack (CRM, PM, finance, martech); evaluate ROI and negotiate terms.
Track margin, utilization, cash flow (DSO), and program health in a lightweight dashboard.
Ensure data hygiene and basic infosec checklists for enterprise clients.
Growth
Define ICPs and offers; package services (e.g., retainers + flagship projects) with clear pricing.
Own marketing cadence: website/SEO, newsletter, LinkedIn, webinars/events, partner co‑marketing.
Own the sales process: lead intake, discovery, proposals, pricing, and close; maintain CRM rigor.
Build a simple reporting rhythm (pipeline, win rate, cycle time, lead sources, CAC‑lite).
Partnerships
Identify and activate high‑leverage partners (platforms, credentialing, assessment, LMS).
Create co‑marketing and referral motions; enable partner sellers; track sourced/influenced deals.
What makes you a fit:
6–10+ years across BizOps / RevOps / GTM in a boutique consultancy, agency, or B2B services org.
Comfortable owning a revenue number and a process—you’ve built scrappy systems that scale.
Confident with contracts, pricing, proposals, and hands‑on marketing.
Clear communicator who loves making messy things simple, measurable, and repeatable.
Nice to have
Vendor ecosystem familiarity (LMS, credentialing, assessment, analytics).
Compensation
We optimize for alignment and upside. Compensation is a mix of base + GP‑based revenue share + accelerators.
Work Location
Remote (NY) within commuting distance of NYC for occasional in-person meetings.
Echtus is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse perspectives and experiences. If you’re excited about the role but don’t meet every bullet, please apply.
