Six-week applied cohort · Beginning September 21st
Curriculum Design for Enterprise Environments
Learn to design the system
that powers the experiences.
Turn scattered enterprise education into a coherent curriculum architecture — aligned to performance, built for scale, and designed to evolve.
The gap
Your company probably doesn't need more content.
It needs a curriculum architecture that makes the content coherent.
Courses, documentation, onboarding, certifications, and webinars often grow across teams without a shared logic. The result is duplication, competing priorities, unclear pathways, and weak connections to performance.
This course will teach you to design the layer that connects it all.
The simulation
Step inside
Meridian AI.
No current employer, live project, or confidential data required. You'll work as fictitious Meridian AI's newly hired Director of Curriculum Architecture.
A fast-changing enterprise AI platform. Four audiences. Fragmented onboarding. Dated certification. Weak adoption. Every stakeholder has a "must-have."

How you'll learn
A decision every week.
Feedback that moves it forward.
Live workshop
60 minutes each weekTuesdays 11a–12p ET
Learn the method, interrogate case evidence, and begin the week's key decision.
Office hour
60 minutes each weekThursdays 11a–12p ET
Bring your draft, test your reasoning, and receive live coaching in a case clinic.
Slack support
Throughout the cohortGet instructor guidance, compare decisions, and learn through structured peer critique.
Personal review
Every submissionReceive feedback on your strongest decision, highest-risk gap, and next revision.
Personalized feedback, built in
"What is the strongest decision here? What is the highest-risk assumption? What should change next — and what must you be ready to defend?"Every week, your work receives an individual review from the instructor.
The curriculum
Six weeks from scattered activity
to enterprise architecture.
From courses to curriculum systems
Diagnose an enterprise education ecosystem and define the architecture problem.
↘Outcomes, audiences & evidence
Connect business goals to audience-specific performance and meaningful evidence.
↘Working backward through competencies
Build observable competencies, proficiency levels, and evidence statements.
↘Stakeholders & governance
Prioritize competing inputs and establish decision rights that prevent drift.
↘Architecture for scale & change
Design modular pathways for reuse, variation, localization, and change.
↘Measurement, delivery & operations
Turn the architecture into a measurable, maintainable operating system.
↘What you leave with
Not a folder of notes.
A defensible blueprint.
Meet your instructor
Taught by someone who's built this
at enterprise scale.
Vicky Kennedy spent a decade in higher education before moving into enterprise tech in 2012, where she led strategy and execution for the first global Amazon Advertising academy and worked inside education teams at Meta, Intellum, and DataCamp. In 2023, she founded Echtus to formalize what all of that experience taught her: most education problems are architecture problems.
She's since built curriculum systems and competency frameworks for companies including Mastercard, Autodesk, Pinterest, Sprout Social, and Reddit — the same discipline this cohort is built to teach.
Who it's for
You already know how to design learning.
Now design at the system level.
→ Senior instructional and learning experience designers
→ Customer education and enablement leaders
→ Academy and learning program managers
→ Content strategists moving into curriculum leadership

Questions
Before you apply.
Do I need a current job or workplace project?
No. Everyone works inside the Meridian AI simulation. Confidential information is never required.
Is this an instructional design course?
It builds on instructional design, but the unit is an enterprise curriculum system: audiences, outcomes, competencies, pathways, governance, delivery, and measurement.
How much time should I plan each week?
Approximately three to four hours, including the workshop, optional office hour, Slack exchange, and one bounded weekly artifact.
Will I receive individual feedback?
Yes. Every weekly submission receives personalized review focused on your decisions, risks, and next revision.
Is this a live course, or will it be recorded?
There is a 60-minute live workshop each Tuesday at 11a ET that requires attendance, but recordings will be provided. You should not sign up if you can't attend at least 4 of the 6 live sessions. An optional live Q&A is also available.
